Payments are processed by Paypal - you can opt to pay with a Paypal account or as guest and pay by credit/debit card. The transaction will appear as Jape Marketing on your statement.
At The Hat Company, we know how important it is to receive your goods when you expect them and thats why we use Royal Mail to deliver all our goods. We endeavour to process orders received by 1pm on the same working day. If we are not able to process your order the same working day it will be posted the following working day.
We will send you a confirmation e-mail once your order is on its way.
To enable us to provide you with the best possible delivery experience, we may pass on your contact details to our carrier partners. These details may allow them to provide you with delivery updates via SMS and/or email.
All of our structured hats are sent in boxes, other crushable hats and caps are sent in mail bags. Due to the size of these items, it is therefore required that delivery is accepted in person. Should you not be home to accept delivery, Royal Mail will return the item to the local depot. This can then be collected from the depot or you can contact ourselves, or Royal Mail to re-arrange delivery.
The Hat Company currently offers Royal Mail 2nd class postage as our standard free service, estimated 3-5 working days delivery, outside busy periods.
We also offer an express delivery at a cost of £4.99. This is a Royal Mail First Class trackable service. Orders placed before 1pm will be posted the same working day and delivered the following working day. Orders placed after 1pm will be processed the following working day.
Orders placed Monday to Thursday before 1pm will be delivered the following working day before 1pm by Royal Mail.
Orders placed after 1pm will be processed the following working day and delivered the first working day folllowing this. Orders placed over the weekend, after 1pm on Friday wil be processed on Monday and delivered on Tuesday.
Delivery will be within approximately 10 working days from dispatch, which will be within one – two days of the order being placed Monday – Thursday. Orders placed on Friday will be dispatched by the following Monday excluding UK Bank Holidays. Please note the time scale for delivery is dependent on the carrier for each individual country. Delivery may take up to 25 working days as set by the delivery company.

Please note that we are not liable for customs taxes and duties charges that may apply to your shipment on entry to your country. Please contact your Customs and Duties office directly if you have any questions.
Although we take great care with packaging on rare occasions your parcel may get damaged in transit, if you are unhappy with the condition of your parcel when it arrives please refuse delivery and it will be returned to us.
For all delivery services working days are Monday to Friday only, excluding Bank Holidays.
